Our Programs

The Christmas Project:

Supporting families during the holiday season by linking them with sponsors who wish to share the joy of the season.

Second Chance Boutique:

A community thrift store located next door to the Fairborn Community Center designed as a support system for our programs and services. Open Tuesday – Saturday Noon – 6 PM

 Community Harvest:

While we work to promote the FISH pantry, Food Bank and county programs centered around food, the people of our communities still go without food on a regular basis. By working with area resturants, the Center picks up donated food items and distributes them to anyone in need of food. We are grateful for the support of area businesses and applaud their efforts to minimize waste and support our families in need.

SonSet Cafe: A community Dinner open to the public and completely free. Held each Thursday evening from 6-7 at St. Marks Lutheran Church, 100 E. Main Street, downtown Fairborn.

Summer Lunch: Located in four parks around the community, Summer Lunch works to engage kids of all ages using fun and educational activities in addition to providing a nutritious meal.

Family Fun Fair: Fun and stuff

Community Outreach: Volunteer

Annual Appreciation Banquet:

Zombie Walk:

Zombies take over the streets of Fairborn every year as part of the our communities effort to celebrate Halloween. The walk works to offer an opportunity for everyone to have some fun and to raise funds for our programs and services. Each year the undead groan, shamble, crawl and lust for brains while they wonder through the downtown festivities during Fairborns Annual Halloween Festival. Click the link to our Zombie Walk page and see photo’s and find out all the details!
